Our first amazing sunflower grew by itself…to say “here I am” in the garden of Sunflowers, “Taman Bunga Matahari” -Yayasan, our school foundation’s name.
Our sacred “Dewi Saraswati” (the Balinese Hindu Goddess for Education & Art) , is enthroned on the Venus-flower Mandala fountain.

YOUR CHILD LEARNS FROM OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
Your child sees Erdkinder Montessori take responsibility for how we treat the earth, and they naturally learn the importance of giving back more than what we take. Students learn how to compost and utilize the finished product to support the soil and growth of their plants in our organic garden. As part of the gardening curriculum, children learn how to grow food, maintain crops and use the “fruits of their labor” in the Culinary Arts kitchen. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle are daily practices.
Our Permaculture Teacher Pak Koko has amazing knowledge to share in his garden lessons.

Occasionally we visit our nearby „MAI ORGANIC farm“ project to enjoy some ready fruits in their organic garden, to feed the goats and explore another great natural environment.
